Funding: FY 2012 National Scenic Byways Program Grants (Webcasts)

On November 7, 2011, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) announced solicitation for FY 2012 National Scenic Byways Program grants. These webcasts are recordings of two sessions of a webinar offered by FHWA and the America’s Byways Resource Center to discuss grant criteria and applications. The webinar focuses on the selection criteria, especially the targeting of planning, safety, and infrastructure improvements and the consideration of job creation. In addition, the webcast emphasizes the importance of project title and abstracts (see: www.bywaysonline.org/grants/articles/81669), as well as commonly made mistakes (see: www.bywaysonline.org/grants/articles/73499).
