A SWOT Analysis is a common focusing tool used by business and nonprofits to assist in long range planning, goal setting, and/or agency assessments. It can be effectively used as the initial step in developing a fundraising plan. See pages 17-18 of the Power Workbook: Strength Training for Byways.
