Learning Objective: Participants will be introduced to a suite of tools available to the byway community to evaluate accessibility along their byway.
Course Description: This 90-minute session will focus on the recently developed tool kit for approaching and analyzing how byways can provide for more accessible and universally designed environments. Participants will be exposed to the principle of universal design; the wide variety of individual needs and how to apply the universal design theory in byway planning.
