Chel provides direction and management for the educational opportunities offered through the Resource Center for the byway community.

Her responsibilities include:

• Planning, conducting and coordinating training and educational programs and opportunities
• Developing content for Resource Center events
• Developing curricula for the National Scenic Byways Conferences, trainings and workshops offered by the Resource Center

In her personal time, Chel divides her attention between her family of three children and husband, her twenty-two sled dogs and her commitment to her township as a firefighter and first responder.
