Time Is Running Out - Secure Your Peer Consultant NOW

With America’s Byways Resource Center closing this summer, there is limited time to match byway organizations that are looking for assistance (that means you!) with experienced, trained peer advisors. The deadline to apply for assistance from the Peer Advisor Network (PAN) is January 20.

The peer advisors have gone through rigorous training by an expert brought in by the Resource Center. These advisors are ready to help you now.

How much does the service cost?

• A byway organization can receive up to three days of on-site direct consulting services in the form of individual meetings, group meetings and/or training. You decide what you want your advisor to help your organization with, and before your advisor arrives, you determine together what are the best means to accomplish your goal. Peer advisor fees are set at $300 per day: the Resource Center subsidizes two thirds of the advisor fee ($200/day) and the byway organization pays the remaining one third ($100/day).

• The Resource Center will pay for travel and lodging expenses for one site visit per assignment. The byway organization will provide meals for the peer advisor while they are hosting the advisor on their byway.
