Marketing Boot Camp Scheduled For October
August 30, 2011 -

Plan to attend America’s Byways Resource Center’s Marketing Boot Camp in Duluth, Minnesota, October 17-20, 2011. This highly informative, concentrated,
four-day, marketing seminar will provide participants with effective tools, techniques and tactics to take back and implement immediately.

• Only 15 people will be selected to attend. Priority will be given to members of the America’s Byways Collection, but others are encouraged to apply.
• Applications must be received before 12:00 p.m. CDT on September 16, 2011.

Public Awareness Partnership Generates New York Times Article

America’s Byways Resource Center and Goodyear formed a partnership in 2010 that continues to generate results for the public awareness initiative, including an article that appeared in the August 5, 2011 edition of the New York Times about driving nine national scenic byways.

Resource Center Welcomes Gerard Baker As Keynote Speaker For The 2011 National Scenic Byways Conference

Gerard Baker, recently retired assistant director for American Indian Relations-National Park Service and a Mandan-Hidatsa tribe member, will address the 2011 National Scenic Byways Conference during Monday’s keynote luncheon. Mr. Baker has initiated award-winning interpretive programming changes to help revive and honor Native American perspectives.
