Call For Nominations: AIANTA Board Of Directors
The American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) Membership will nominate and elect representatives from 6 regions (Eastern, Midwest, Plains, Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Southwest) and one At-Large position during the 12th Annual American Indian Tourism Conference hosted by the Tulalip Tribes at the Tulalip Resort Casino in Tulalip, Washington, September 19-22, 2010.
Requirements and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Be an AIANTA member in good standing.
- Interpret the organization’s work and values to the community, represent the organization, and act as spokesperson.
- Network and communicate with tribes in your region to increase membership and to help the Board of Directors meet the needs of the members it serves.
- Actively participate in one or more fundraising activities.
- Participate in an on-going strategic planning process.
