Job Opening For Tribal Liaison At America's Byways Resource Center
America’s Byways Resource Center has a full-time opening for a Tribal Liaison. The role of the Tribal Liaison is to provide direct assistance to Indian tribes as they develop byway programs, designate roads, and coordinate with communities along byways.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting in strengthening the partnership between America’s Byways Resource Center and tribal governments participating in the National Scenic Byways Program
- Enhancing coordination and communication between tribal governments and Federal land management agencies, State governments and community partners
- Encouraging information sharing, coordination and collaboration between Federal programs and tribal governments relating to byways
