Register for the Context Sensitive Solutions National Dialog Workshop Webcast

Because of the high level of interest in the National Dialog Workshops, the third in the series of Context Sensitive Solutions National Dialog Workshops will be webcast live from Charlotte, NC. Workshop presentations and discussions will be streamed via the Internet for those unable to attend and participate on site.

The workshop, scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, will include an up-to-date overview of Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) plus presentations on exemplary CSS projects, plans and programs from the surrounding region. The case studies were drawn from over 90 submissions from across the country, and were selected as examples of effective application of CSS principles to transportation projects, plans and programs.

The workshop will provide transportation agency employees and managers, government decision makers, community groups and future transportation professionals the opportunity to learn more about CSS and how it can improve transportation processes and outcomes.

There is no cost to view the webcast. Please register in advance to receive updated workshop information including the final agenda and schedule. To register, click here.

The National Dialog workshops are organized by the Federal Highway Administration and supported by the Center for Transportation and the Environment, a university-based transportation center housed at North Carolina State University. The February workshop is co-hosted by the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
