Register For The Second Annual Geotourism Summit, February 2, 2010
Mark your calendar today to participate in the Second Annual Geotourism Summit on February 2, 2010 at National Geographic Headquarters in Washington, DC, sponsored by National Geographic’s Center for Sustainable Destinations, Ashoka Changemakers, and the InterAmerican Development Bank.
A special “early registration” fee of $160 is available until December 31, 2009. To register for this event, click here. A preliminary agenda is posted on the registration website, along with other helpful trip-planning information.
The Summit agenda will feature how-to panels, networking opportunities, and useful tips for leaders and practitioners engaged in geotourism, sustainable development, and destination stewardship. Case study presentations will showcase the three winners and seven finalists of the 2009 Geotourism Challenge-best of 610 entries from 81 countries.
