Our Native Pathways Of The Upper Woodlands & Great Lakes, November 4-5, 2009
Our Native Pathways of the Upper Woodlands & Great Lakes will take place November 4-5, 2009 at Black Bear Casino & Resort, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, in Carlton, Minnesota.
The meeting will introduce Indian tribal governments to the many byways opportunities that exist under various programs (FHWA, USFS, States, and Tribes); provide an effective networking opportunity for tribes and key Federal, State and America’s Byways Resource Center staff; and refer tribes to the relevant resources that will assist them in National Scenic Byways Program development, nomination and designation, and byway implementation for their reservations.
Travel reimbursement will be made available to tribal representatives on a first come, first-served basis. To register and request a travel reimbursement, please e-mail Scott Sufficool at ssufficool@byways.org.
