Call For 2009 Conference Presentations: Submissions Due January 15
Share your knowledge and guide the byway community to new heights! You’re invited to submit a proposal to speak at the 2009 National Scenic Byways Conference, August 23-26, 2009 in Denver, Colorado.
We’re seeking experienced and knowledgeable members of the byway community, instructors, researchers and professionals to contribute within five core learning areas critical to byway success and sustainability: Finances; Corridor management; Visitor experience; Byway organization; and Marketing. Presentation topics of particular interest include:
• Historic preservation
• Accessibility
• Organizational development
• Fundraising
• Intrinsic qualities/resource protection
• Planning
• Wayshowing
