The America’s Byways Resource Center will sponsor Our Native Pathways: Byway Opportunities for Indian Tribes, June 17-18, 2008, in Portland, Oregon. The purpose of this meeting, funded by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, is to introduce Tribes to the basics of the National Scenic Byways Program, byway program development, byway designation and successful approaches to sustaining a byway.
