Green Infrastructure Workshop, May 5-9, 2008

A Green Infrastructure Workshop will take place May 5-9, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This unique course will provide a strategic approach for prioritizing conservation opportunities and a planning framework for integrating green and built infrastructure alike.

Through hands-on class projects, lectures, case studies, and a local field trip, participants will experience firsthand how the green infrastructure approach can be used to connect the environmental, social, and economic fabric across urban, suburban, and rural settings.

The tuition cost for this workshop is $125. For more information, visit www.wfrc.org or contact Val John Halford at vhalford@wfrc.org.

This workshop is sponsored by Wasatch Front Regional Council, Utah Department of Natural Resources, in cooperation with the Conservation Fund and the United States Forest Service.
