Register For "Power Workshops I: Strength Training For Byways"
The America’s Byways Resource Center will offer Power Workshops I: Strength Training for Byways, February 21-22, 2008, at the BLM National Training Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Participants will learn to assess their byway’s sustainability indicators for managing resources, organizations and financial health.
Power Workshops are theme-intensive workshops divided into four-hour slots. Four hours will focus on developing skills in fundraising techniques, such as working with donors. The second segment will deal with strengthening their byway organization by working through scenarios in small groups. The final segment will help participants identify the core essence of their and byway effectively communicate it to the public. This is a repeat course from 2004.
The workshop is free for America’s Byways® representatives, State Byway Coordinators and Tribal Byway Program Coordinators. There is a $50 registration fee for all others. For complete details and to register, click here.
