Career Day
A recent newsletter from my boys’ pre-school (Tucker and Wyatt, both four) offered parents the opportunity to come to school and talk about our jobs. I’ve already signed up! Next will be the challenge of explaining byways to four- and five-year-olds. I think I’ll bring treats.
If you’ve ever visited a classroom, you know that those little kiddos treat you like a major celeb. They call you Mrs. Johnson, tell you they like your shoes or your jewelry and stand around you in quiet awe. I can’t wait.
O.K., so it’s not all that quiet, and they don’t all admire your accessories, but it is a pretty good time.
