America’s Byways Resource Center is pleased to welcome you to our new website. The information here focuses on education and training for byway groups.
Over the years, we’ve posted information and made announcements on www.bywaysonline.org, a site operated and maintained by the Federal Highway Administration. The America’s Byways Resource Center staff has gathered so much useful information for byways, we decided to add a new website just for education and resources. We worked with FHWA staff to organize information between www.bywaysonline.org and www.bywaysresourcecenter.org.
FHWA provides information related to grants, designation, forums, and national marketing. That’s also where you should go to verify your byway data that travelers see.
The www.bywaysresourcecenter.org site is rich with useful information. Filed under the core areas of Corridor Management, Byway Organization, Fundraising and Visitor Experience, you’ll find articles, publications, tools, training opportunities and web links to help you manage your byway. And more resources will be added all the time. The www.bywaysresourcecenter.org site is rich with resources (and more resources will be added all the time), loaded with links and in constant motion. This site is your go-to source for instant news and announcements from the Resource Center. Research byway-related topics and information all with a few clicks of the mouse. Think of this site as a virtual byways specialist. And not to worry, we are all available to talk to you by phone, too!
