Capacity Registration For The 2007 National Scenic Byways Conference
America’s Byways Resource Center and the National Scenic Byways Program with the Federal Highway Administration announced that the 2007 National Scenic Byways Conference reached capacity far earlier than any other previous conference, topping out at nearly 450 guests.
“Our conferences get better every time and people fill every seat. The sell-out response shows that the byway community is finding useful information and terrific networking opportunities through the event,” said Michelle Johnson, Director of America’s Byways Resource Center.
The next conference is slated for 2009. The site has not been announced yet.
“Unfortunately, conference sites are only so big and we have to limit registration any place we choose. We try to remind people to reserve early to avoid disappointment,” she added.
For those who missed the 2007 conference, America’s Byways Resource Center hopes to post many of the materials on its newly launched website, http://www.bywaysresourcecenter.org/.
