Exciting Changes At The America's Byways Resource Center

Michelle Johnson has been appointed Director of the America’s Byways Resource Center effective September 16, 2005. Michelle’s strong leadership as Deputy Director since the inception of the Resource Center in 1998 has contributed to the success and growth of the byway community. Her creativity, high energy, management skills and ability to work with partners on a national level will ensure that the byway community continues to receive the assistance it needs to enhance and strengthen the byways.

Resource Center Welcomes Mark Conley

Mark Conley was selected by the Forest Service to serve as the Federal Lands Scenic Byway Coordinator and will be stationed at the America’s Byways Resource Center. Mark will provide national coordination and support for the National Forest Scenic Byways Program and Bureau of Land Management Backcountry Byways Program.
